Baccalaureate Service
Saturday, May 9, 2020, 9:00–10:00am
David and Carol Lackland Center, Sitnik Theatre
All graduates should arrive at the theater no later than 8:45am. After the service graduates should arrive at the robing and lineup area no later than 10:00am on the front lawn of the Seay Building. Students are not expected to come robed. Graduate robing will begin immediately following the service. Graduates will be required to lineup alphabetically by degree earned.
Commencement Day
During the Ceremony:
To preserve the decorum of this important event, we ask graduates and their guests to comply with the following:
- All guests are to remain seated, including when your graduate receives his/her degree.
- All graduates must return to their seats after receiving their diplomas, and must stay for the entire ceremony.
Post Commencement Reception information:
Come meet with Faculty and Staff. The reception hosted by Student Life will be held on the walkway outside the Lackland Center. It will be held inside the cafeteria if there is inclement weather. You may take photos, chat, introduce your family or just say see you later. Light refreshments will be served.
Guests and family members can view the live streaming indoors at the Dining Hall (David and Carol Lackland Center).
