During her education career she has been a Teacher, Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant, Supervisor of the Child Study Team, Director of Special Services, Principal and Superintendent. Also, she has taught for many years as an adjunct instructor at Centenary receiving the 2004 Outstanding Adjunct Instructor Award.
Dr. Prystash initiated Professional Development Schools in Jefferson and Califon School Districts. Also, she accepted many student teachers from Centenary University while in her roles as Superintendent and Principal. She has also participated on the Centenary Education Department Liaison Committee. She is excited to join the Education Department faculty and continue the next step in her education career. Dr. Prystash resides in Allamuchy Township with her husband Daniel, a special education teacher in the North Warren School District. They have two children and six grandchildren.
