Payment Schedule

A student’s account is expected to be paid in full on or before the date due. Billing information is found in the students Self Service section of My.Centenary. Late fee’s up to $300.00 will be assessed for missed payment deadlines for full-time students.

All Fall bills will be available for viewing on July 1, 2019.  This includes terms 2019FA, FA19A and FA19B.  Summer term bills are immediately available for viewing.

HEALTH INSURANCE WAIVER – All full-time undergraduate students will be assessed an insurance fee on July 1, 2019. This fee will be $2,284.00. To waive this fee, you MUST COMPLETE the Insurance Waiver Form on the Student Health Portal by August 8, 2019. As a reminder, this waiver form must be completed every year by all returning undergraduate students.

Acceptable Payment Methods:

Payment may be made using any combination of the payment methods listed below:

Cash, Check or Credit Card – Centenary University accepts Visa, MasterCard, and DiscoverCard. Payments made by Credit/Debit card will incur a 2.65% service fee. Payments and application fees may be made by logging into your my.Centenary account, clicking on the “My Billing Ledger”, then the “Student Finance” box, then clicking on the words “Make a Payment”.

Financial Aid – Financial aid should be in place before the payment deadline. Students can view their financial aid awards online by signing into their my.Centenary account and clicking on the “Financial Aid” box. Students should contact the Financial Aid Office with questions about their awards at

Tuition Payment Plan – A monthly tuition payment plan option for traditional full-time undergraduate students taking 12 or more credits is available in partnership with Tuition Management Systems (TMS). For information or to enroll in the plan, please visit

Billing Notifications:

Bills are available electronically (e-Bill) through the student’s my.Centenary account by clicking on “My Billing Ledger”, then the “Student Finance” box. Students should review their account activity periodically to confirm that a change or adjustment has not been made creating a balance due.

Students who will be residing on campus and have been assigned a room will see their Room & Meal Plan costs on the Account Activity screen. Students who have indicated they will be residing on campus and do not see housing as part of their bill, should contact the Residence Life Office.

Prior to each due date, a reminder Email notification will be sent to the student’s Centenary University email. Monthly reminders will also be sent to the student’s email account until the balance has been paid.

Important Note:

Current Students who will not be attending the Fall 2019 semester must submit a Withdrawal/Leave of Absence form to the the Registration Office no later than August 25, 2019. Withdrawn/Leave of Absence students who do not complete the proper forms by the deadline will be responsible for the costs of the semester, regardless of attendance.

Newly Admitted Students who will not be attending the Fall 2019 semester must submit a cancellation notification to the Admissions Office no later than August 25, 2019 or they will be responsible for the costs of the semester, regardless of attendance.

Non-payment of tuition & other charges, non-attendance in classes or notification to an instructor do not constitute appropriate notification of withdrawal or cancellation. A student who fails to withdraw or cancel officially waives the right for consideration of any refunds.

The University reserves the right to change costs, dates and procedures at its discretion.
