The Centenary University Career Development Center provides students and alumni with the skills and resources they need to identify a rewarding career path and land the job they have always envisioned.

Our services are available the moment you step on campus and continue for as long as you remain in the workforce. In fact, the Career Development Center is often a popular, bustling center of activity on campus, with its location in the Seay Building, near the Student Activity Center (The Sac) and #theVIBE, our cutting-edge social media marketing laboratory.

The Career Development Center’s goal is to help you build your own “brand” to successfully market yourself to potential graduate schools and future employers. We offer one-on-one counseling and group sessions on topics including resume and cover letter writing, internships, career goals, social media, job applications, mock interviews and much more.

The Results?

More than 94% of recent Centenary grads are employed or in graduate school, with student working in their field at three times the national average!

Online Career Tools

Centenary recently joined the College Central Network, the nation’s largest network of college job seekers. This online job posting and resume database system brings together employers, students and alumni for jobs and internship opportunities across the country.

Once registered — all current students and alumni are eligible — you can post your resume and search for jobs at any time from any computer.

Work Study

The Career Development Center is also a point of contact for on-campus employment for students. Students interested in working on campus can stop by the office to get the paperwork and information needed to successfully log hours for various departments on campus.
