Senior Director of Student Engagement
After over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Tiffany Kushner joined the Centenary University community as the Director of Student Activities. While working with students to plan events on campus she has enjoyed hosting our Homecoming dances, Bingo nights, Midnight Breakfasts, New York trips, Family Weekends, Dorm Wars, and so much more! Shortly after her time in Student Activities Tiffany took on a new role as the Director of Co-Curricular Transitions working with first year college students throughout their journey from high school to college and transfer students as they adjusted to their new environment.
Now, in her current position as Senior Director of Student Engagement Tiffany has brought together many of the departments on campus that connect students with meaningful experiential learning opportunities and possibilities for involvement. She supervises multiple staff members that oversee Centenary’s Student Activities, Intramurals, Community Service, First & Second Year Experiences, Student Government, Campus Clubs, Commuter Council, and Campus Ministries. By providing leadership on special projects Tiffany facilitates the education of students on the resources available to them on campus and beyond. She would be a person who can help you start a new club, plan a fundraiser, find a community service opportunity, or help you move in when you join us on campus.
While her main goal is to make students feel at home while on campus, as a resident of Hackettstown for over 5 years, Tiffany also enjoys encouraging students to get to know all that the town has to offer.

First Year Leaders are upper class students at Centenary University who have been hand-picked because of their leadership qualities.
They fill the roles of mentor, friend or informative source for incoming students.
First Year Leaders are here to help new students with a smooth transition from high school to college. These leaders are embedded in the Academic Foundations at Centenary Courses (AFC) and attend every session of their assigned class. In the classroom they are expected to aid the professor. Outside class, the FYL’s are available to tutor students in all AFC related course work and are responsible for coordinating social programs that promote team building and bonding.
