Cent Cinema: Each month a newly released movie is played in the Little Theatre. You can also enjoy a bag of freshly made popcorn.
Hoe Down: At the Hoe Down you’ll enjoy a mechanical bull competition, southern comfort food, and the sounds of country music.
Homecoming Dance: Annually the magical homecoming dance takes place each October in the transformed cafeteria.
Alumni & Family Weekend: Each October alumni, families, and friends are invited to come together to celebrate what it means to be a cyclone.
Cyclone Cup: Centenary has traditionally had an all-campus competition, though it may have been known as Dad’s Day or Dorm Wars this year students will compete to take home the cup.
Haunted House: Created and haunted by Centenary’s own students each October for one night a residence hall is transformed into a hall of horror.
International Thanksgiving: Turkey, mashed potatoes, and empanadas? At this event are students are encouraged to cook a traditional family meal. A turkey and other “traditional,” thanksgiving food is also enjoyed!
Light the Quad: Student organizations, clubs, athletic teams, greek life, and staff bundle up and brave the cold to decorate the student quad with twinkle lights!
Hometown Holiday: Located in the front of the Seay building the town is invited to celebrate alongside the students. Traditionally there is a grand illumination, sweet treats, photos with Santa, and carolers.
Midnight Breakfast: The night before finals students line up outside the cafeteria for a free breakfast prepared by their favorite professors and staff members.
Campus Concert : Each spring the students work tirelessly to put together a campus concert.
Bingo: A student favorite as the night is filled with laughter, fun, and prizes totaling up to $1,000.
President’s Picnic: The week prior to spring finals students, staff, and faculty gather outside to enjoy a bbq, music, centenary swag and games.
Senior Week: This week is planned by the senior class. Each year is different depending on what the class decides. The class typically uses this week to announce their senior gift!
President’s Ball: Centenary’s semi-formal dance is a night many students look forward too. This event is all about the senior class! They decide on theme and details of the evening.
