Each year, some of Centenary University’s most successful students are transfers from community colleges or other four-year institutions. On average transfer students make up approximately one third of the incoming class.

We are committed to helping you make a seamless transition. We want to help you transfer as many credits as possible toward your degree, and ensure you immediately feel like a part of our campus community.

At Centenary University, we’re setting our sights higher. In an effort to get-to-know our applicants, we have partnered with ZeeMee, a free service that helps students bring their application to life. As part of a holistic review, we are committed to learning about the person behind the application.

Sign up at ZeeMee.com. Please note, submitting a ZeeMee profile is completely optional and evaluation of your admissions application will not be delayed as long as all materials are received by the stated deadlines.

The individualized attention that Centenary provides each and every student starts with the admissions process, which includes guidance on:

  • How your existing classwork matches up with our 54 career-focused fields of study.
  • How you can access internships that will prepare you for your dream career through our Career Development Center.

Additionally, a minimum of 128 credits are required to earn a bachelor’s degree at Centenary University. Students from community colleges and/or proprietary schools are allowed to transfer a maximum of 72 credits with a C- or better. A maximum of 96 credits from a four-year or combination of two- and four-year institutions may also be transferred.

While most students apply in the fall or winter for the following academic year, Centenary offers a rolling admissions process that allows you to apply at any time. Choosing where to continue your college career is a major decision. We are committed to doing everything possible to make sure Centenary is the right fit for you.
