The Veteran’s Resource Center (VRC) is located in Room B005 in the SEAY Building. It is a designated space open to student veterans and veteran dependents at Centenary University. The space lends itself to studying, relaxing in between classes, working on group projects, and socializing. The VRC is always well-stocked with up-to-the-minute, pertinent information for veterans and veteran dependents. Relevant publications, subscriptions, books, and current printed materials and brochures regarding educational and healthcare benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Healthcare Outreach, and Vet Centers as well as other services and resources available to veterans and veteran dependents are kept on-hand and updated accordingly as changes/additions/availability of programs warrant.

The VRC is outfitted with some comfortable furniture, several work top spaces, and a conference-sized table and chairs, which works very well for studying, meetings, and group work.  The VRC is home to student orientations and information sessions and workshops organized by the Office of Veteran Services as well as meetings of the Student Veteran’s Organization (SVO). There is a coffee maker, refrigerator, and TV on-hand along with snacks, water, coffee and tea.

Student ID cards must be coded to access the door to the Veteran’s Resource Center. Student veterans and veteran dependents should visit the Office of Student Life on the main floor of the SEAY Building to have cards coded for access. If you are not on campus during their hours of operation, please make arrangements by emailing:

Please enjoy the space!
