On September 2, 2016, Centenary University’s School of International Programs, in cooperation with Triway International Group, Falls Church, Va., presented a seminar on American Journalism Operations for 20 journalists from Shanghai, China.  The seminar was presented by Professor Matthew Mendres, Assistant Professor of Communications in the University’s Department of Communications and Fine Arts.  In addition to the lecture Professor Mendres provided a tour of the University’s state-of-the-art TV station and explained how students are provided hands-on experience in station operations.
