The drawings will begin at 7:30 with over 150 trays and prizes. Some prizes include dinner out for a year, a 32” TV, autographed sports memorabilia and much more. All must pay the entrance fee unless they have purchased the $25 Pre-sale Package. This package is worth up to $60 and is only available until November 9, 2016. All money and proceeds will help raise funds for The Centenary Women’s Softball team to travel and play internationally.

“Centenary’s Women’s Softball team has been hosting the Tricky Tray for more than a decade,” says Kim Broking, Assistant Athletic Director and Head Softball Coach at Centenary University. “The event has become a fundamental opportunity for the local community to support our athletes and to win prizes that have been donated by our local restaurants and vendors. We typically get over 200 participants and the turnout continues to grow each year. The Tricky Tray really underscores how Centenary student-athletes embrace and understand the importance of community relations. It is such a lively and exciting experience. There will also be a full concession running during the event with tons of great food. We are very appreciative of all who support this initiative.”

Centenary University’s goal is to maximize the human potential of our student-athletes through the principles of fair play, sportsmanship, personal health, and well-being, by fair and equitable treatment.  The holistic approach stresses the fundamentals of the games that are played, as well as the values of responsibility, discipline, commitment, respect, teamwork, and community.  These principles will translate into victories, but more importantly, they will develop young people with character.  Those who compete and graduate become true champions, for they will understand what it means to be committed to excellence.

Founded in 1867 by the Newark Conference of the United Methodist Church, Centenary University’s academic program integrates a solid liberal arts foundation with a strong career orientation. This mix is designed to provide an educational experience that prepares students to succeed in the increasingly global and interdependent world.

Centenary University’s main campus is located in Hackettstown, N.J., with its equestrian facility in Washington Township (Morris County). The Centenary University School of Professional Studies offers degree programs in two locations: Parsippany and Edison, and at corporate sites throughout New Jersey. The School of International Programs recruits international students for study at Centenary and Centenary students for study abroad.
