Centenary University’s Event Management Class Organizes a Family Fun Day and Dance-A-Thon for Smiles for Margaret

Hackettstown, N.J. – The Event Management class at Centenary University will be hosting a Family Fun Day and Dance-a-Thon for the local charity Smiles for Margaret from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on April 17, 2016 at Donaldson Farms. The Dance-a-thon will include a variety of music provided by DJ Vinny.  For those focusing on family fun, there will be a bounce house and D2W Pro Wrestling matches.  Pocono Raceway will be bringing a pacecar and mascot and Somerset Patriots will have their mascot Sparky in tow. Children can also participate in face painting and pony rides (weather permitting). Local food vendors will also be in attendance. The price for this event is free, but there will be face painting for $1, $2 for the bounce house, and $3 for pony rides.

Donations are suggested in order to participate in the Dance-a-thon.  Music that will be played will include hip hop, dance, country and music from the bands One Direction and Big Time Rush, which were Margaret Walling’s favorite bands.

Smiles for Margaret was formed for Margaret Walling, age 12 of Hackettstown, N.J. Margaret was born July 13, 2001 and passed away from a brain tumor on December 28, 2013. After Margaret’s death, Smiles for Margaret was incorporated and a 501c3 founded by Donna (Murphy) Walling & Christopher Walling, Margaret’s parents.
