The Disability Services Office is committed to providing a full range of auxiliary aids and support services to eligible members of the campus community. Support services and auxiliary aids are provided to assist the University in ensuring accessibility for students with disabilities.
Support services include:
- Disability counseling and advising
- Advocacy
- Faculty consultation and training
- Provision of alternative or electronic text
- Sign language interpreters
- Arranging accessible classrooms
- Note-taking services
- Testing accommodations
- Special topic seminars
- Referrals
- Training in the use of adaptive technology
Auxiliary Aids can include:
- Adaptive software programs
- Alternative Text
- Closed captioning
- Spellcheckers
- Enlarged classroom materials
Any other service or aid that will assist in creating accessibility for an eligible student with a disability may also be provided on specific request.
