Meet Our Assistant Director

Simona Scalisi
Assistant Director for Graduate Enrollment

Simona

Simona joined Centenary University as an Enrollment Counselor in January 2014. Her career also included working as a Program Advisor to adult students before finally obtaining her position in the Graduate Admission Office in 2019.  She obtained her BA in History with a concentration in Journalism and Political Science from the College of Saint Elizabeth. She went on to work as a news producer at a highly rated television network in New York City. After three years in the news industry, Simona decided to pursue a more fulfilling career in the field of higher education. She enjoys student recruitment because of her desire to inspire, motivate and assist individuals to reach their highest potential through the attainment of a college degree. She is passionate about creating a supportive and well-informed experience for her prospective students, ensuring a seamless admission process and that the program is indeed the right fit. In addition to promoting student achievement, Simona serves as a religious educator at her local church and has a passion for family, music, politics and visits to the beach.
