B.S. in Accounting
The Bachelor of Science in Accounting prepares students for positions in accounting and business and provides the required accounting courses necessary to sit for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam. (150 credits are required for CPA licensure.)
B.S. in Business Administration
Centenary University’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is designed for students who want to explore all aspects of running an efficient and successful business. Our program will provide you with a strong background in general business principles. It also emphasizes the “softer” skills needed to thrive in today’s business world, as elements of international business, cultural diversity and ethics are highlighted throughout the curriculum. Our program then allows you to choose one or more meaningful and focused areas of concentration to build the career you want.
Business Administration Concentrations
Business Administration students have the opportunity to choose one or more concentrations from in-demand career fields. Concentrations have been designed so that students may choose more than one area of concentration to broaden their business knowledge, if elective credit is available, without adding more courses to their degree. (Some students transferring in may have already used elective credit).
B.A. in Communication: Radio, Television & Film Concentration
In the real world, professionals from various fields—writers, television producers, and radio talent—often collaborate to create messages that inform and entertain. It takes a versatile communicator with a B.A. in Communication to work across disciplines to create content that truly engages.
B.S. in Computer Science with Data Analytics Minor
Computer Science focuses on the use of technology to manage information in a business context. Courses cover the design and development of software systems, Web applications, programming, data structures, and user interfaces as employed in a variety of real-world situations. A capstone experience allows students to use their accumulated knowledge of the field in project design and implementation.
B.A. in Writing
In our B.A. in Writing program, you will learn how to tell compelling, memorable stories. You will have ample opportunity to cultivate your personal voice and understand the expectations for workplace writing.
