Criminal Justice Minor
Students interested in completing a minor in Criminal Justice must complete a minimum of 16 credits in Criminal Justice above and beyond any courses that may be used to fulfill the University’s core requirements or other program requirements. To minor in Criminal Justice, all students must take the following courses:
CJS-1001 Introduction to Criminal Justice, two sophomore-level courses (2000 level CJ courses) and one junior-level (3000 level CJ course)

Law & Government Minor
Students interested in completing a minor in Law & Government must complete a minimum of 16 credits above and beyond any courses that may be used to fulfill the University’s core or other program requirements. To minor in Law & Government, all students must take the following courses:
- U.S. Political Systems
- American Constitutional Law
- Legal Research and Writing
- Ethics and the Professional
Paralegal and Legal Assistant Studies Minor
Students interested in completing a minor in Paralegal & Legal Assistant Studies must complete a minimum of 18 credits above and beyond any courses that may be used to fulfill the University’s core or other program requirements. To minor in Paralegal & Legal Assistant Studies, all students must take the following courses:
- Legal Research & Writing
- Law & Litigation
- Wills & Probate
- Real Estate
- 1 PLS designated elective credits.
