Biography

Dr. Mastrangelo joined the Centenary faculty in 2014, after 15 years of teaching at St. Elizabeth University.  Dr. Mastrangelo currently serves as the Director of Composition and is one of the campus faculty teaching in the Writing Major.  She regularly teaches courses in First Year Writing, Professional Writing, Writing for a Digital World, and Rhetorical Theory.  Dr. Mastrangelo is an active member of the Council of Writing Program Administrators and Past President of the Coalition of Feminist Scholars in the History of Rhetoric and Composition.

Recent Publications/Presentations

Dr. Mastrangelo presents regularly at the Conference on College Composition and Communication and the Feminisms and Rhetorics Conference.  Recently, she presented at the Asociacion Latinoamericana de Estudios de la Escritura Conference in Santiago, Chile, with Dr. Erin Andersen.
