You will examine and research trends, evaluate consumer markets and buying behaviors and use technology to conceptualize, design and construct apparel products.
Real-World Training
In Centenary’s Fashion Design program, you will learn by doing. All students will be trained in the use of Gerber Technology’s computer-aided design software, which is considered the industry gold standard for intelligent pattern design.
You will also learn advanced techniques in:
- Apparel construction
- Sketching/illustration
- Pattern making
- Draping
- Portfolio development
With these skills under their belts, all Fashion Design students cap off their academic careers by creating a fashion collection that is presented in a runway show.
