Biography
Dr. Singher has a PhD in Psychology. Dr. Singher has worked in the addiction field for over 30 years. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Dr. Singher has international certifications as a drug and alcohol counselor. She authored the first of its kind curriculum in New Jersey for addiction. She also co-authored the curriculum at Centenary for students to obtain both an LPC and an LCADC.
Dr. Singher worked for 15 years in an in-patient rehabilitation center in Pennsylvania, where she developed a criminal lifestyle program, addressing offender populations’ thinking patterns. She developed and implemented coping skills training courses for in-patient clients in recovery.
Dr. Singher serves as the Chairperson for the planning committee of the Local Advisory Committee for Alcohol and Drug Abuse (LACADA) in Warren County. She is a member of Warren County Task Addiction Awareness Task Force, Warren County Mental Health Board, and Warren County Stigma Free Board.
