Future Educators, You Are Invited!

Centenary University invites you to experience what sets our Education programs apart by joining us for an Education Preview Day on campus.

Spend a few hours seeing what it is really like to prepare for a teaching career at Centenary. You will have the opportunity to attend our weekly Story Hour, a long-standing program led by Education professor Lexis McCoy, where Education students read to local pre-K children and lead engaging, hands-on activities.

You will also sit in on an Education class held in our Clinical Classroom, designed to mirror a real elementary school setting. Enjoy lunch with current Education majors and meet faculty and your dean to ask questions and learn more about the program.

Centenary Education graduates are known throughout the region for being classroom ready. Nearly 100 percent of our graduates secure positions in public schools immediately after graduation. This is a result of coursework supported by research-based best practices, extensive clinical experiences, and strong school partnerships.

Join us for Education Preview Day on Wednesday, May 6. We will meet in the Lackland parking lot at 9:45 a.m. The full program runs until approximately 2 p.m., though you may leave earlier if needed. Parents and families are welcome to attend.

We look forward to welcoming you to campus and showing you what your future in education can look like at Centenary University.
