April is Counseling Awareness Month. Join us in honoring the impact of counseling, promoting mental health awareness, and highlighting the professionals who make a difference every day.
On April 14 from 6–7 p.m., join us for a virtual information session to explore our M.A. in Clinical Counseling. Designed for recent graduates and career changers, this flexible hybrid program provides the academic foundation and hands-on experience needed to pursue licen-sure in New Jersey.
The session is led by Dr. Keith Morgen, a licensed counselor and published expert in addiction, trauma, and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will learn about the curriculum, licensure pathway, practicum and internship support, and how personalized faculty guidance helps students balance life and learning.
Centenary University Alumni Guest Speakers:
Nicole Brummer, M.A., LAC – Therapist at A New Way Counseling and Psychotherapy, specializing in trauma, behavioral addictions, and co-occurring addiction and mood disorders.
Amanda Magyar, M.A., LAC, ADC – Clinician at CarePlusNJ, working with first-episode psy-chosis, outpatient substance use, and COPE clients.
Ken Rothfeld, M.A., LPC, ACS – Executive Director of Clinical Services at Hampton Counseling Center, specializing in PTSD and trauma, with a focus on Veterans and first responders.
This is your opportunity to ask questions, meet faculty and current students, and determine whether the Clinical Counseling program is the right next step.
