Congratulations to the newest members and leaders of Centenary University's Education Honor Society, Kappa Delta Epsilon!
On Sunday, April 19th, the School of Education and Humanities at Centenary University celebrated an impressive milestone for students as Kappa Delta Epsilon (KDE) Education Honor Society officially inducted its newest members and installed a fresh slate of officers for the upcoming year.
Since its establishment on the Centenary campus decades ago, the Gamma Zeta Chapter of KDE has been a pillar of professional development, fostering high standards of scholastic achievement and a spirit of fellowship among students preparing for a profession in the field of education. KDE members are known for their hands-on service within the Centenary community and beyond, including initiatives like funding and designing the "Clinical Classroom" and volunteering for events. Membership offers a platform for students to connect with experienced educators and prepare for the evolving demands of the classroom. KDE's faculty advisor, Lexis McCoy, EdD, shares, "The students who actively work in this honor society are outstanding, and it is a pleasure to advise such an impressive group of future educators. This ceremony honored those who have demonstrated dedication to their studies and a commitment to the professional ideals of education.”
