Event Details:

ETS BOOT CAMP CLINIC at Centenary University Equestrian Center: 40 Califon Road, Long Valley, New Jersey 07853

December 12 and / or 13, 2026 for 6th-12th grade riders who want to ride in college.

TWO different clinics in two days – riders can do Saturday or Sunday or BOTH!

  • Saturday is a collegiate recruiting clinic – learn about college choice, admissions, and recruiting, and be instructed and advised by top college coaches. Get a report card, make a recruiting BIO, and be promoted to teams and coaches who are looking for riders like you!
  • Sunday is a hunter equitation clinic, with instruction from top coaches from top teams, and a classroom seminar “From the Judge’s Perspective” by a USEF judge who does a lot of IHSA and IEA shows. Learn to think like the judge, and improve your riding and your ribbons!

Saturday, 12/12/26 – College Selection and Recruiting Day – Entry Fee: $295 (or $540 for both days)

12:00 PM RECRUITING SEMINAR for riders and parents in the Equestrian Center Classroom

  • Strategies for narrowing your college choices.
  • Equestrian as a college interest, as either a major, minor or extracurricular
  • Campus visit strategies
  • How to get recruited for college riding
  • Scholarships, and what can you realistically expect from riding scholarship programs 

For experience levels IEA Novice and higher-to be divided into groups by skill level.
