Event Details:

Trisha Massa serves as Community Liaison at Trinity United Methodist Church in Hackettstown, where she oversees programs designed to address food insecurity, economic hardship, social isolation, and the needs of children and families in the greater Hackettstown community. Her work includes directing The Lord’s Pantry, a choice-based food pantry serving hundreds of households each month, and developing outreach initiatives that connect neighbors with resources and support beyond food assistance. These efforts include Trinity’s Resource Center, Laundry Ministry, ESL programming, and outreach to under-resourced and unhoused neighbors. Trisha also oversees after-school programming, creating safe and welcoming spaces where young people can participate in enrichment activities, share meals, and build relationships with caring adults. Prior to her work at Trinity, Trisha spent 24 years with MenHealing, a national nonprofit providing healing resources and support for male survivors of sexual trauma, where she served in community outreach and program coordination roles. Across her work, Trisha believes meaningful community outreach begins with relationships, connection, and recognizing the dignity of every person.

This is a lecture series presented in cooperation with Campus Ministry. The lecture series brings together speakers that provide information that supports the United Methodists Church Mission for Social Justice. The program will include time for questions and answers.
