HACKETTSTOWN, NJ, Sep. 22, 2026 — The Centenary University Institute of Entrepreneurship will host the Third Annual Small Business Summit on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the David and Carol Lackland Center in Hackettstown, New Jersey.
Designed for small business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, and professionals who support the business community, the in-person summit will feature tailored breakout sessions, expert panel discussions, and opportunities to connect with local vendors. Throughout the day, participants can exchange ideas, build relationships, and gain practical knowledge to help their businesses start, strengthen, and grow.
“The variety of sessions offered include building a business from scratch, understanding worker rights, personal branding, scaling up an existing business and so much more,” said Linda Poisseroux, PhD, Director, Institute of Entrepreneurship, and Faculty, Centenary University School of Business, Media, and Writing. “Everyone who attends is certain to walk away with new knowledge, valuable connections, and renewed energy focused on personal and professional success.”
Attendees will be able to explore vendor tables and network with other participants from across the region. Speakers include Lauren Borawski, Child’s Play Challenge Courses; Lorraine Hubbard, Norwescap; Frank Longo, Faculty, Centenary University; Tezeta “Tez” Roro, YourTopia Realty Partners; Christine Sullivan, Little Hearts Counseling; Mark and Liz Velez, HR First Solutions; Kelsey Walter, Green’s Beans Café; Drew Wintemberg; and Harris Wolin, Myers Wolin, LLC.

Participants may bring their own lunch or purchase a $10 lunch voucher when registering. Vendor tickets include one lunch voucher.
