Before you can access your student portal, you will need to activate your Centenary account and reset your password.

Please update your information in the Password Reset Self Service System using your Centenary username and temporary password, which was provided on your IT welcome letter. After updating your password you will be able to log into my.Centenary using your Centenary username and updated password.

Submit Your Enrollment Deposit

All full-time undergraduate students who plan to attend Centenary University must submit an Admission deposit.

Submitting your deposit holds your place in the incoming class and allows you to register for classes.

All students must make an Admission deposit of $100. If you are requesting on-campus housing, an additional $200 Housing Security deposit is required. Please submit one payment of $300 if you would like to secure a room.

The Admission deposit is not an additional fee, but will be deducted from your annual charges at the start of your first semester at Centenary. The Housing Security Deposit will be held for damages and assessed at the end of the year.

We encourage you to make your deposit by May 1, or within two weeks if you are accepted after that date.

The deposit for the fall semester is refundable in full, upon written notice to the Admissions Office, prior to May 1. The deposit for the spring semester is refundable in full, upon written notice to the Admissions Office, prior to December 31.

You can pay the deposit in one of three ways:

  3. In person by visiting the Student Accounts Office, room 103, on the main level of the Seay Building.

If financial circumstances make payment of the enrollment deposit difficult, contact the Admissions Office to discuss your circumstances.

Advising Days

All incoming students meet one-on-one with an advisor to discuss life goals and academic aspirations, review degree requirements, and create a class schedule for their first semester at Centenary. Please note that you must submit your enrollment deposit before you can register for classes.

Incoming freshmen should plan to attend one of the Advising Days beginning in May, to schedule their courses, meet with faculty and staff, complete necessary paperwork and get prepared for their academic journey at Centenary. You can schedule a visit through the Academic Success and Advising Center’s website link to Schedule an Advising Day. For students admitted in late August or in December, you can schedule an individual appointment with a member of the Academic Success and Advising Center staff. Please note that all Science, Animal Health, Equine Science, Exercise Science, Education Biology and Education Math majors are required to take an online math placement exam prior to your advising session.

Incoming transfer students should contact their Transfer Admissions Counselor to schedule an advising appointment. Appointments are held on a rolling basis from March through August for students starting in the fall term, and from November to mid-January for students starting in the spring term.

Submit Your Medical Forms


All forms are found on the Centenary University Student Health Portal, which can be accessed by admitted students once they have deposited.

  • Access the Student Health Portal by going to
  • Log on to the portal using assigned Centenary credentials (username and password)
  • Click on “PENDING FORMS” or “MY FORMS” in the Upper Left Corner
  • Be sure to UPLOAD your Official Vaccination Record (childhood vaccines), Insurance Card and COVID Vaccination Card to the Student Health Portal in the “Document Upload” section

Accept/Waive Centenary Student Health Insurance


Please note that all students are automatically enrolled in the University Student Health Insurance Plan, and are assessed a fee for the policy on their term bill. (The annual fee/year $2,812.00)

Students who can provide proof of private health insurance may opt to decline this insurance coverage and waive this fee by completing the Insurance Waiver Form on the student health portal AND by uploading a copy of their insurance card.

For those students registered by 8/9/2022, the waiver must be submitted by 8/10/2022. This is also the date the student’s bill is due. For those who register for classes AFTER 8/9/2022, the form must be submitted by 9/5/2022. Missed deadlines will result in mandatory participation in the University Student Health Insurance Plan and may be subject to late payment fees.

First-time freshmen transferring dual enrollment credits must submit an official college transcript by July 15th.

Final official college transcripts for transfer students are due September 15th.

Submit Your Housing Preference Form


Living on campus can be exciting and rewarding, and we want to make sure you have the best experience possible. If you are planning to live on campus, please complete the Housing Preference Form to help us get to know you better. The information on this form will help us pair you with a roommate and assign you to a residence hall.

If you require housing accommodations, you must complete the Housing Accommodations Application and return it to the Disability Services Office. Applications for first-time students attending Centenary for the fall semester must be submitted by June 30th. Submit Your AP/IB/CLEP Exam Scores


Centenary awards college credit for qualifying scores on Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams.

If you have taken one or more of these exams, please have your official score report sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

Submit Your Equine Riding Placement Form


If you plan to take equine riding classes, please complete the Equine Riding Placement Form.

The information submitted on the riding placement form, along with your video submission, will be required to determine your riding level and placement in the appropriate riding class at Centenary. The video should showcase/demonstrate your ability in a 5 minute clip. Competition videos are acceptable for submission.

Submit Your STEP Ahead Packet

Centenary's STEP Ahead program is an intensive pre-college program designed to enhance the development of self-advocacy, independence, and interpersonal and academic skills in students with documented learning differences.

If you are a student-athlete, you must submit NCAA medical forms in addition to the Centenary medical forms listed above.

Please review our Athletic Training website to find the student-athlete checklist and required forms. In order to meet NCAA compliance, physical exams must occur after July 1st of the academic year in which you are starting at Centenary.
