Centenary Celebrates Honor Society Inductions in Natural, Health, and Social Sciences

15 students recognized for academic excellence in their respective fields of study, leadership, and commitment to the community.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ, April 28, 2026—Centenary University’s School of Natural, Health, Social, and Behavioral Sciences recently honored 15 students for academic excellence and leadership. The university recognized students who were inducted into the Omega Rho Chapter of Beta Beta Beta—also referred to as Tri Beta—the national biology honor society, and Phi Alpha, the national social work honor society. Also recognized were graduating seniors of Phi Alpha and Psi Chi, the international honor society for psychology students; the organization held its induction ceremony in December.

“I am extremely proud of all the students inducted, who represent the very best of what Centenary has to offer—individuals defined not only by academic excellence, but also by intellectual curiosity, leadership, and a deep commitment to improving the communities around them,” said Douglas Compton, Ed.D., dean of the School of Natural, Health, Social and Behavioral Sciences and coordinator of criminal justice studies.
