HACKETTSTOWN, NJ, Oct. 29, 2025—Centenary University athletics recently unveiled its 2026 Hall of Fame class as part of this year’s Alumni and Family Weekend celebration. This year’s class honors an outstanding group of former Cyclones whose excellence helped elevate Centenary athletics to new heights across multiple sports. The induction ceremony is set for Saturday, Jan. 31, at Reeves Gymnasium on the University’s campus in Hackettstown.

Leading the class is softball standout Meagan Madsen (2011–2014), one of the most decorated players in program history. Known for her power on the mound and leadership on the field, Madsen left her mark on the record books while helping guide the Cyclones to multiple winning seasons.

From the wrestling mat, Chris Burdge (2010–2014) joins the Hall as one of Centenary’s premier competitors. An All-American, Burdge remains one of the most accomplished wrestlers in program history and a cornerstone of Centenary’s nationally recognized wrestling legacy.

On the pitch, Jess Sikora (2004–2007) earns her place among Centenary’s elite for her stellar soccer career. A dynamic and consistent force, Sikora was instrumental in leading the Cyclones to success during her tenure and continues to be remembered as one of the most dominant players in the program’s history.

Rounding out the individual inductees is baseball star Nigel Archibald (2002–2005), who helped set the standard for excellence on the diamond. Archibald’s leadership and production were crucial in establishing Centenary baseball as a conference powerhouse.

The 2005 Centenary Baseball Team will also be honored as the Team Inductee. That historic squad captured the conference championship and became just one of two Cyclones teams ever to advance to the NCAA Regional Tournament—a defining achievement in program history.

Finally, this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Fred Mangione (Class of 1993), recognizing his remarkable professional success and dedication since his time at Centenary. Mangione’s post-graduate achievements exemplify the values of leadership, excellence, and commitment that the University instills in its student-athletes. A Centenary honorary degree recipient in 2015, he was recently named chief business officer for the FIFA World Cup 2026 New York New Jersey Host Committee.
