Health Services

Services Offered

  • Services provided (but not limited to) include:  sick visits, physicals (non-sport PE’s), immunizations, allergy desensitization injections, gynecological care, STI testing, contraception and health education.
  • Point of Care Diagnostic Testing includes:  urinalysis, urine pregnancy testing, rapid COVID testing, rapid Flu testing, rapid Strep testing, and rapid Mono testing.
  • We offer a “Drug Take Back Program”:  students can call the Health Office at ext. #2209 to schedule a drop off of unused or expired medications for safe disposal.

Theresa Lord-Stout began her career at Centenary College in September 2014, after 10 years of college health experience at Rutgers University Health Services, where she provided primary care and gynecological services to students and was a member of the Rutgers Eating Disorder Treatment Team. Prior to her tenure at Rutgers, Lord-Stout worked as a Nurse Practitioner.  Lord-Stout has many years of experience as a Nurse Educator, having taught at Rutgers College of Nursing, Seton Hall University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, and Warren County Vocational-Technical School.  She was a staff nurse in critical care and medical-surgical nurse at Dover General Hospital, Brick Hospital, and Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, and she served as the Nursing Supervisor of Brick Hospital. Lord-Stout has 30 years of experience as an Adult and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and is a graduate of the Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Seton Hall University and her Master’s of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.  Lord-Stout received the Roy Anderson Bowers award for exemplary service.  She was also awarded the Rutgers President’s Recognition Award for outstanding service.

Cindy is a Registered Nurse (RN) at Centenary University since June 2016.  She attended Montclair State University and received her RN diploma from Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing.  She was the Nurse Manager in a Family Practice office for 12 years. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and walks of life with emphasis on patient-centered care and wellness.  She is an active volunteer in her community, church, and schools for many years.
