Internal Resources

Access to Internal Resources

To support the safety, integrity, and reliability of University operations, certain systems and services are accessible only through approved University platforms, secure network pathways, and authenticated access methods. Security measures may include Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), role-based access controls, network protections, activity monitoring, and other industry-standard safeguards.

Current faculty, staff, and students should access internal resources and secured University systems through our central Account Management System commonly referred to as the Password Reset System or the Single Sign-On (SSO) Portal.

The SSO Portal provides a centralized and secure method for authenticating our users and protecting institutional systems, accounts, and data from unauthorized access.

SSO access is available for most University resources including Moodle LMS, Self-Service Portal, Health Services Portal, Email, OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Workspace, and MS Teams. These are protected platforms for use by authorized, licensed Centenary users and they require successful authentication using University credentials and applicable multi-factor authentication (MFA) requirements.

Single Sign On (SSO) Provides:

  • Streamlined access across supported applications
  • Secure access to institutional systems and services
  • Centralized authentication and password management
  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) protection
  • Improved account security, auditing, and monitoring

For security and compliance reasons, direct access to certain internal systems has been restricted. Attempting to directly access these resources may result in an error message or security alert. To avoid unnecessary frustration, we do not advise bookmarking the locations of individual systems, and encourage everyone to use the SSO portal.
