First induction ceremony held at the University also honored President Dale Caldwell, Ed.D., as well as faculty and staff who provide extraordinary support to first-generation students

Centenary University recently inducted its first class of students and alumni into Alpha Alpha Alpha, an honor society that recognizes the accomplishments of first-generation students enrolled in colleges and universities across the nation. During the ceremony, Centenary also honored University President Dale Caldwell, Ed.D., as well as a host of faculty and staff, for their extraordinary support for first generation students.

The University introduced a Centenary chapter of the honor society, also known as Tri Alpha, during the fall semester. Tri Alpha promotes academic excellence and provides opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and campus and community service for first generation students.
