Biography

Dr. Lazzara currently serves as Principal of Sparta High School. Dr. Lazzara started his career teaching students with special needs as well as coaching football, basketball, and baseball. Throughout his career, he has held many administrative positions as Vice Principal, Supervisor of Special Services, and Athletic Director. He also served as Principal of Belvidere High School.

Dr. Lazzara holds his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, a Master of Arts in Special Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Business. Dr. Lazzara resides in Sparta with his wife Maura and their family. Dr. Lazzara is proud to serve the community in this capacity and honored to be a part of this outstanding school district and the Centenary community.
