Biography
Dr. Nicosia has served as Superintendent of Schools in Bloomingdale, NJ since July 2021. After graduating from Montclair State, he began teaching Mathematics at Parsippany High School. After earning his M.A, in Educational Leadership at Montclair State University, Dr. Nicosia was promoted to Assistant Principal of Brooklawn Middle School, Parsippany. After spending 3 years in this role, he accepted the position of Principal at Troy Hills Elementary School, Parsippany. After serving as an Elementary Principal for 2 years, Dr. Nicosia followed his passion for special education and served as the Director of Student Services in the Butler & Bloomingdale School Districts. When the opportunity presented itself, Dr. Nicosia assumed his current role with Bloomingdale Public Schools.
