DON’T MISS OUT ON CENTENARY UNIVERSITY AND HACKETTSTOWN BID’S HOMETOWN HOLIDAY CELEBRATION SCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER 2, 2016

Hackettstown, N.J., November 21, 2016 – Centenary University is partnering with the Hackettstown Business Improvement District (BID) for the annual Hometown Holiday Celebration on December 2, 2016. This is the fourth year that Centenary and the Hackettstown BID will work together to promote holiday spirit to the Hackettstown community and beyond.

The festivities will kick off at the Centenary University Edward W. Seay Administration Building at 5 p.m. Members of the community will be encouraged to join in on holiday music, crafts, and treats, carriage rides, and the Grand Illumination of the Seay building at 5:15 p.m. Local singer, Kenny Sterns, will be in attendance, plus Santa Claus and elves will also be on hand to infuse the event with holiday cheer!

At 6 p.m., carriage rides will relocate to their Moore Street pick up and the Main Street festivities will begin with several local choir and band performances, local business shopping and dining options. The Santa Parade will begin at 7 p.m. followed with Santa Lighting the Holiday Tree at 7:15 p.m. at the Main Street Gazebo.

“We look forward to partnering with Hackettstown BID on our annual Hometown Holiday event for the fourth year,” says Kerry Mullins, Dean of Students at Centenary University. “This celebration provides an excellent opportunity for our students and campus community to come together with our fellow neighbors to kick off the start of the holiday season. It is truly a wonderful time for us all to celebrate together.”
