Centenary University is hosting its first annual pop culture convention this spring! Mark your calendar for Saturday April 13, 2024 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. CycloneCon will have an exhibitor hall with over 95 vendors and artists, a cosplay catwalk, a Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournament, story time with a superhero, a Star Wars trivia game, panels, workshops, a kids’ room, food trucks, and MORE!

Meet SPECIAL GUEST Bob Sharen! From 1978-2001, Bob was a colorist for #Marvel Comics. During that time, he worked on almost every Marvel title at one time or another, mostly on long runs of GI Joe, Alien Legion, and the various Spider-Man titles. His credits include nearly 1,800 issues in those years. A longer time and more credits than ANY other artist, including over 160 issues of The Amazing Spider-Man, 99 issues of Alpha Flight, Iron Man from 1979-1989, Captain America from 1982-1989 and over 60 issues of GIJoe from 1982-1994. He now works full-time on color commissions.

The Collectible Conservancy is your one-stop shop for comic book pressing, cleaning, conservation, preservation, and grading submission in the Northeast, serving the entire United States. The Collectible Conservancy is an authorized CGC Signature Series Facilitator and will accept on-site pressing/cleaning submissions, grading submissions (not on-site grading), and CGC Signature Series witnessing at CycloneCon. Gamers Get ready! CycloneCon’s FREE Super Smash Bros Ultimate Tournament will be in the Seay Building and hosted by Oasis Online Arcade. Prizes will be provided by Gans Media Computer Services. Signups are open until midnight on April 13th. The link to sign up can be found in your confirmation email after purchasing your ticket. Cosplayers CycloneCon will have a cosplay catwalk for kids (ages 0-12) and adults (ages 13 and up). Read cosplay dress code and weapons policy here. CycloneCon will have a cosplay repair room on site.
